NICCA USA, INC lastest addition in its water repellent line

water repellent

As the legislation is leaning towards C6 chemistry, the Textile industry is still using C8 water repellent to meet high level performance applications such as outdoors wear or leisure (boating, camping). Nicca USA’s R&D is answering the remaining demand for C8 water repellent with the release of its new product called NI-913.

NI-913 is a low foaming water repellent suitable for heat sensitive fabrics due to its low curing temperature. If used in conjunction with a binder, it offers good laundry resistance. NI-913 has no influence on crockfastness and shade of the fabric. NI-913 provides a 100 rating (AATCC spray test method 22-2010) for synthetic fibers. This last formulation ensures that neither the fabric nor the padding rolls will be stained by residuals. Another advantage of NI-913 is that it is not flammable.
